Prop Flintlocks: This was a RARE find! We acquired these three pieces during a vacation trip, from an antique shop. To my surprise these three items were sitting on a shelf. Talking with the lady at the counter, she said they were some movie props that the owner picked up from somewhere once. I took a good look at them, as it turned out in my favor, these were tagged "ALAMO". Further curious, I decided to research the owner (I can provide his name at request). As it turns out, the shop owner is a set property master that does frequent work for motion pictures. He often browses through backlot studio prop houses and finds items he think would look nice in his shop!!! These pistols are exactly as they were used, Guarenteed from the production "The Alamo"!

I have seen many fraud sellers try to pass fakes off as movie props. But the truth is, they are NOT easy to come by! Many still reside in the prop houses, as where these came from. Two are molded from a hard resin, and the third is a stunt version made from foam rubber. They are all hand-painted and surprisingly detailed. Very exquisite items! These are not replicas, reproductions, toys, look-alikes, etc... you do not often see weapons, especially from a Mel Gibson produced film appear. That is what makes these so rare!
